Promise 1995-2011
Promise showed up one day at our front door and did not want to leave. Many people found Promise to be “aloof” but I found her to be PERFECT. She was a great companion for me during some of my darkest (health crisis) days. She lived 16 years (and three houses) with us and I felt like my soul was CRUSHED when we euthanized her in 2010. She left some giant paw prints on my heart. I will forever think of her as my best friend.
