Testimonials

There’s no greater joy than knowing we’ve improved someone’s life in some way.

Robynn is great at listening, answering questions, and offering resources. Her knowledge and ability to communicate what she sees in the dog and the handler provides valuable insights and techniques to strengthen the bond between you and your dog.
Ruby and I met with Robynn to explore the idea of Ruby being in a fitness class with other dogs. I describe Ruby as a “sensitive thinker” who was unsure about the world around her. Ruby had her basic obedience behaviors down, but I was looking for ways to increase her confidence. Robynn offered suggestions on ways to build Ruby’s self-assurance. I have watched Ruby’s confidence grow during our Olfactory Fun classes. Robynn’s goal of wanting the dogs to have a place to freely experience their gift of smell has opened a door for Ruby and helped to strengthen the bond I have with her. We are currently taking our first fitness class with other pups and Ruby is doing great! I highly recommend working with Robynn if you are looking to find joy for you and your pup.

Our experience with the Assembly of the Wandering Shepherd has been absolutely wonderful. Working with Robynn is such a pleasure. She brings so much expertise, research-based advice and skills, and passion to her work. Robynn takes a unique approach by meeting you and your dog where you are in your training, customizing her approach to your dog, goals, and lifestyle. Simply put, she also makes it so fun! Our puppy, Zoey, loved her olfactory class, and the skills learned in that class helped us with some behavioral training at home. Robynn is truly a gem, and we are so thankful for her.

Quotes from attendees of our AAI Evaluation Prep Workshop

"Although I was auditing the class without my dog, the information provided was very helpful. It tied together the Handler Guide material with what is expected during an actual evaluation."

"The agility related props were a good test of whether one's dog could handle uncertain surfaces, noise, and objects. Some dogs handle these challenges well while others can get really stressed. Until you observe how your dog handles these physical obstacles and noise, you may not realize what might stress your dog."

"Having 2 experienced teachers was helpful. The most helpful was doing the different components of the evaluation and getting feedback from the instructors."

“Anyone preparing for their evaluation should take this workshop. It can be isolating to practice alone and think you're preparing your dog as best you can. It helps to be in a room with like minded people and listen to their questions, concerns and expectations. Since we all have the common goal to do AAI with our pet, it is enriching to be surrounded by everyone and their pets in the same room together. Thank you Robynn!!!!”

“Learned new information -- ie. take 2nd leash/collar/ to visits Handouts were good reminders! Communicating with masks on! Wow! Good Practice!”
